Accomplishing Wonderfuls and Optimistic Gratefuls: 06/29/2015

Apparently my numbers and dates aren’t aligning properly.  Hmm..

So how is everybody’s SunMonday going?

What am I grateful for?

  1. My Life and this beautiful Stormy day
  2. My home
  3. My bed
  4. My Family
  5. My mischievous kitty
  6. Work
  7. My friends
  8. Ice Cream

My wonderful was my Alone time.  I love being Alone, where the kitties go into a room, and I am alone in my home, if only for a brief time.

Tarot of the Day: IX Aloneness, Queen of Clouds: Morality, King of Water: Healing: 06/28/2015

How did everybody’s Monday start today?

It’s a holiday week.

I haven’t done my morning meditation yet, and I may get to that soon.

I am a Divine Child.

Osho Zen Tarot
Art by Ma Deva Padma

When there is no ‘significant other’ in our lives we can either be lonely, or enjoy the freedom that solitude brings. When we find no support among others for our deeply felt truths, we can either feel isolated and bitter, or celebrate the fact that our vision is strong enough even to survive the powerful human need for the approval of family, friends, or colleagues. If you are facing such a situation now, be aware of how you are choosing to view your ‘aloneness’ and take responsibility for the choice you have made. The humble figure in this card glows with a light that emanates from within. One of the Gautam Buddha’s most significant contributions to the spiritual life of humankind was to insist to his disciples, “Be a light unto yourself.” Ultimately, each of us must develop within ourselves the capacity to make our way through the darkness without any companions, maps or guide.

Osho Zen Tarot

Morality has restricted all the juice and energy of life to the narrow confines of her mind. It can’t flow there, so she really has become ‘a dried up old prune’. Her whole manner is very proper and stiff and sever, and she is always ready to see every situation as black and white, like a jewel she wears around her neck. The Queen of Clouds lurks in the minds of all of us who have been brought up with rigid ideas of good and bad, sinful and virtuous, acceptable and unacceptable, moral and immoral. It’s important to remember that all these judgements of the mind are just products of our conditioning. And whether our judgements are applied to ourselves or others, they keep us from experiencing the beauty and godliness that lies within. Only when we break through the cage of our conditioning and reach the truth of our own hearts can we begin to see life as it really is.

Osho Zen Tarot

It is a time when the deeply buried wounds of the past are coming to the surface, ready and available to be healed. The figure in this card is naked, vulnerable, open to the loving touch of existence. The aura around his body is full of light, and the quality of relaxation, caring and love that surrounds him is dissolving his struggle and suffering. Lotuses of light appear on his physical body, and around the subtle energy bodies that healers say surround each of us. In each of these subtle layers appears a healing crystal or pattern. When we are under the healing influence of the king of Water we are no longer hiding form ourselves or others. In this attitude of openness and acceptance we can be healed, and help others also to be healthy and whole.

> The Queen lurks in the background of my mind a lot.  I start to get accomplishment in my “homework”, and my mind needs a break, and then the break turns longer and she creeps in.  Aloneness is interesting considering the topic in this weekend’s reading.  Now healing, what are we healing this week?

Weekend Gratefuls and Odd Wonderfuls, Tarot of the Weekend: 06/27-28/2015

So How was everybody’s weekend?  Especially on this special weekend following this momentous ruling?

While this is a great victory, a world of caution.  In the nature of the way our government (United States) is supposed to work.  The Judicial branch was never meant to govern, but to tell us whether a law was constitutional or not, and send it back to the legislative branch.  It feels like a breathe, the time between the moment and the next.  What is going to happen next?  Whose to say?

This is an odd Wonderful, personally I think it should just be worded that all HUMANS (regardless of race, ethnic backgrounds, class, religion, etc) can marry anybody of their choice.  Which would be revised eventually when we start creating AIs.  Not just as the liberty comes up for each group.  Put it entirely to rest.

The other Wonderful would be that June’s Rent has been paid, and I’m no longer 30 rolling on it.  This is an awesome wonderful.  It’s something I’ve been working towards for a couple months, since my income took a nose dive following work drama and surgery.  I put it in the mail this evening, it’ll enter circulation tomorrow afternoon.

What am I grateful for?

  1. Alone time (I’ve been craving it for a couple days.  I also need some green time, but the alone time has been something that has been calling.  I needed to dance, to act, to imagine. It’s been calling)
  2. Sleep (I slept through the night last night, which was helpful and restful)
  3. My kitty (she’s a good snuggle buddy, she’ll snuggle all day with you if you want)
  4. Aldi (food a budget)
  5. Ideal Shake (I’ve had a healthy breakfast since Friday)
  6. The rain (it’s relaxing and refreshing)
  7. Websites that provide movie fixes (finding websites that have movies that I like and can watch)
  8. Essential Oils (work better than medication from doctors most of the time [my experience])
  9. Half Price and Amazon (finding things for less than retail)
  10. My Life on this Amazing Monumentally Wonderful Weekend.

Victory, Success, Fame, Leadership

This card often signifies victory or success, usually obtained through our own efforts. This success may involve public recognition or even fame. it is possible that you have achieved this through being a skilled leader – so that your actions have benefited not only yourself by others. Whatever praise or rewords you receive are the result of your ability to inspire others, and if this has not occurred already , it’s possible you are being asked to take on a leadership role, or that you are looking for this in others.

> Work keeps wanting to walk me through the closing procedures. I’m think that they are planning on giving me a key soon. Not sure though, but in light of everything that has gone on towards the end of last week, both personally and naturally this is very apt.

Enthusiastic, Energetic, Inventive

If you have drawn this card it can either refer to that part of you which is outgoing and full of life, or to some one you know , or will know in the future, whose dynamic enthusiasm will inspire you to get involved in creative projects. When not signifying a person, this card may represent the initial spark of interest in a project or relationship, or it can indicate a message or communication, particularly one conveying news about the beginning of a venture. it may also indicate a general quickening of the pace of life – a new phase of activity just starting.

> I’ve been thinking about editing some things, getting back in the “pool”. Stepping out and saying hi.  I’ve been avoiding it.  But maybe it’s time to BE.

Childhood Wonderfuls, Gelato Gratefuls, and Tarot of the Day: 06/26/2015

How was everybody’s Day?  Was it Great and Wonderful?  What made it great and wonderful?  What happened today that made you grateful?

Today was a blueberry day, the last until my brother in law becomes employed again.  We went for a walk, and then came back in time to see the dump trucks and bobcats work on the road.

Then we were off to home for some Lunch and Nap time.  He slept till 4pm today, but by then I was off to my home.  I had some one coming over today for a massage, and do some sheets for the future.

We did have an Awesome storm come through during the massage.  *sighs* the smell of rain.

Blueberry was in fine form today.  Such a good boy most of the time.

wpid-img_20150626_134653.jpgWhat am I grateful for today?

  5. Local Co-op (picked up another essential oil roller)

II The High Priestess
The Druid Craft Tarot
Art by Will Worthington

Depth, Intuition, dreams, inner wisdom, gateway to initiation, the unconscious, the divine feminine.

Now is the time for entering the stillness. Don’t be in a rush to move forward in your journey. The power of decision-making and action, as epitomized by the Magician card, needs balancing with the power of reflection and depth. True passivity as demonstrated by The High Priestess is strong and fertile, and should not be mistaken for weakness or inertia.

> A rush no, but I’ve accomplished one thing, and now I’m going to breath before I begin working towards the later goal.

Today’s affirmation was I am an awesome family member.

Thank you so much!

Good Night!

Wonderful Walks and Grateful Visits: 06/25/2015

How was everybody’s Day?  Was it Great and Wonderful?  What made it so?  Do you have a crazy Old man (ahem Cat) that eats plants?

I had several wonderful walks today.  Two with Blueberry to watch the construction on the road, and Two dealing with the Library.

Let me tell you a secret.  You can go to the library and get almost every book you ever wanted to read, and it doesn’t cost you anything (other than fines if you never return them).  Where as at the bookstore it gets a bit pricy.  That way you find out if you like the book first, and then buy it.

What am I grateful for today?

  1. My little Blueberry (we read several books today, and went for walks)
  2. Making big burly men happy to have little boys watching them work.
  3. Helping some one load a wood pallet on a wheel barrel (Don’t ask)
  4. Catching a kitty outside and sharing a meow
  5. Catching a squirrel “hiding” in the tree
  6. Seeing all sorts of dogs out with their humans this evening.
  7. The library (ya know for the books)
  8. Car2Go (awesome customer service)
  9. My Life on this Wonderfully Awesome Day
  10. Cold Water for towels that cool down annoyed itchy skin.

Hope everybody has a good night!  Good Night!

Tarot of the Day: XII The Hanged Man: 06/25/2015

How has everybody’s Day gone so Far?

This morning’s meditation was a guided Dawn meditation.  It was a short one, I didn’t have the time-ish this morning for my long one, but wanted to do one all the same.   It was centering.

ah that breeze through the window is AWESOME

This morning’s Affirmation was I am ME
