The Singer of Connection
By Brian Froud
Faeries’ Oracle Deck

Singer of Connection: Spiritual Connection, Karma, Balance, Empathy; This singer supports all connections, the web of light between all beings, all particles, and between past, present, and future. It brings wholeness to apparent duality and combines all energies, uniting all that was, is, or could be. When we lose awareness of this connection in our lives, we feel isolated, lonely, bereft. Yet the energy is there. We only need to be open to it.

What connections are in your life? Connections don’t have to be people. Connections can be destinations, events, calls, appointments, pets, nature, home, work, and/or random people, close friends/family, co-workers, co-riders, co-humans, etc. What connections are you making or not making? Where are you going with it? How are you dealing with it? What is the connection?

Sometimes it’s a conscious decision to be open to the connections in our lives.  Sometimes it’s an unconsciousness connection, that we don’t even realize is there, till it’s gone.   When working with some one, something, with nature, with a building, we feel a connection, a sync.  We can feel it when it’s not there.

Whether you’re working, having fun, bored, dancing, hanging out, alone, reading, doing chores; there is a connection to what or who you are working with.

So who, what, where, and why?

What connections are you working on?

Totality
By Ma Deva Padma
Osho Zen Oracle

Five of Fire: Totality: We may feel there are too many things to do at once, but get bogged down in trying to do a bit here, a bit there, instead of taking one task at a time and getting on with it. Or perhaps we think our task is ‘boring’ because we’ve forgotten that it’s not what you do by how you do it that matters. Developing a knack of being total in responding to whatever comes, as it comes, is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. Taking one step through life at a time, giving each step your complete attention and energy, can bring a wondrous new vitality and creativity to all that you do.

Do you feel like this sometimes?  Too much to do, so little time?

I tend to feel like this sometimes.  I have all these things I want to do, but it’s difficult to focus on one thing, when there are all interconnected.   There are sooo many things and so little time.  I think I have it down now.

Maybe this is for you.  Maybe both of us.

Oracle Card: Letting Go: 03/14/2016

Letting Go
Osho Zen Oracle
by Ma Deva Padma

Eight of Water: Letting Go: To choose this card is a recognition that something is finished, something is completing. Whatever it is – a job, a relationship, a home you have loved, anything that might have helped you to define who you are – it is time to let go of it, allowing any sadness but not trying to hold on. Something greater is awaiting you, new dimensions are there to be discovered. You are past the point of no return now, and gravity is doing its work. Go with it – it represents liberation.

I time of letting go.  This week is going to be an interesting week, as my Roommate mentioned.  We have today, PI Day, and Thursday St. Patrick’s Day, and Saturday/Sunday Spring Equinox.  Seasons are changing.  Things are ending.  Where are you going?  How are you getting there?  What and Who are you purging from your life?  What should be coming a natural end?  These are all good questions.  Maybe you have a couple others that you need to asking.

Remember:  Only Good things are Happening. The Day is a new day.  Full of new choices. Leave the yesterday, where it is, and let it go.

Oracle Card: Knot of Isis (Energetic Stabilization with the Buckle of the Beloved): 03/12/2016

I really do hope people are or did have a chance to be out and about, enjoying the day.  Here in Minneapolis it’s a Sunny Saturday under a Warm Sun.

Knot of Isis
Isis Oracle
By Alana Fairchild and Jimmy Manton

Knot of Isis (Stabilization with the Buckle of the Beloved): Each initiate has their own unique spiritual blueprint with particular skills, talents, and higher destinies unfolding that use their unique attributes. Part of your spiritual blueprint is a special relationship to the energies of the Goddess. This means that not only do you have the important spiritual task of helping Her thrive in this world but you are afforded Her power, protection, and abundance too. You are now deepening your connection to Her.

There is healing work to be done.  I’ve been feeling it for some time.  The Knot of Isis is something that can help along the path of that healing.  The Knot of Isis is more a personal tool for your personal path, than it is for something of a global nature.  Except for the statement “Heal your life, Heal the World.” or “Change your life, Change the World.”  The path itself starts and ends with you, but it can change your surroundings profoundly.  Step onto the path in unconditional love, and know that you are safe, protected and holy in the Divine Love and Light.

Set
Gods and Titans Oracle
By Stacey DeMarco and Jimmy Manton

Set (Chaos): Trust that chaos is part of the process of change. Sometimes things need to fall apart to reform into your desires. Hold your intention.

Change is in the Wind. Ready or not it’s coming. Daylight savings begins in the US this weekend. Spring is next weekend. Last weekend of April is Easter. Boom…BOOm…BOOM!! Change is in the wind, either in seasons or life. We forget sometimes that we are children of this Earth too. Despite the boxes we build to keep us separate from nature, and us as “safe” as we think.

If we were meant to be completely safe, we would never grow. If we never grow, we never learn. If we do not learn, then we cannot advance. If we do not advance, we stay stagnant. If you do not try, you cannot succeed.

Life isn’t about stagnation, it’s about learning. Learning what works. Learning what doesn’t. Learning about love. Learning about you. But for any of that there is a little chaos of life. No matter how hard we may want to stuff it into a box and say “this is my world”, something or some one is going to push you outside of the comfort zone, wouldn’t you rather like the choice to do so, than the windstorm that comes around the bend?

Oracle Card: Ganesha (Obstacles): 03/10/2016

Good Evening!  I meant to do this earlier, but my day kinda got away from me.

This morning’s Card was

Ganesha
Gods and Titans Oracle
By Stacey DeMarco and Jimmy Manton

Ganesha (Obstacles): Obstacles are removed or placed for good reason. Invite in a drama free life.

Obstacles can be funny things. They can teach lessons. They can be the lessons. They can be milestones. They can be trials. They can be helpful. They can be hurtful. They can be speed bumps. They can be of our own making, or some one else’s. It all depends on your point of view.

Our own belief system can be obstacle. I our belief in our self worth can be an obstacle. Our belief in life can be an obstacle. Our doubt, fear, and worry can be an obstacle.

Sometimes the Universe, Divine or God puts obstacles in our paths to learn from.  Sometimes we listen, sometimes we run, and sometimes we take those lessons and bury them, deep.  The problem with ignoring an obstacle, or burying it deep, is that sometimes they can grow or multiply.  Because honestly, burying them into the Earth, is like planting a seed, do you really want to see what else is going to sprout, or would you rather deal with the obstacle you have?

When you bury something, an emotion, a belief, a fear, etc.  They can “fester”.  Issues in the tissues anyone?  Avoidance could manifest into knee pain (had that happen with a client).

So be careful with what you say, think, or bury…you may just get something you didn’t expect.

Two by Fours are kind of abrupt.

Side note: Leo King says, “It is always better to heal from facing the hard stuff than running away from it.”

Oracle Card: Nauda (Perfection): 03/09/2016

The Card this morning was

Nauda
Gods and Titans Oracle
By Stacey DeMarco and Jimmy Manton

Nauda (Perfection): Love and appreciate your uniqueness and your imperfections. Question the costs of chasing perfection. Delight in who you are.

We are all perfect in our imperfections. We are unique in the sea of people. But we still try to be the ideal of perfect. But what is the cost of perfection?

In school if you don’t fit in, you are usually bullied. That’s just the way it has been. Recently we are changing that. We are educating our children that it’s okay to be different. That it’s okay to be “imperfect”. It’s okay to be unique. In fact, it can be down right fun.

So why does this not carry over into adulthood? Society still has problems seeing the beauty in the unique and the different. They still ridicule and ostracize those they deem different. We see it on the news, in politics, on television, in equality, in religion, in the “ideal” of perfection. But what is the cost of this Ideal? Think about it.

When I look at some one that is different from me, I say “what a beautiful soul”.

Each of us have something to offer. Each of us is a voice in a chorus, that has several notes. Each of us are a piece of the larger whole. We are all perfect in our imperfections, and we are all Beautiful.
